7th IWH/INFER Workshop on Challenges and Implications of Inflationary Dynamics

Halle Institute for Economic Research(IWH) joint with the International Network for Economic Research(INFER) organize a workshop on Applied Economics and Economic Policy.

The workshop provides a platform to discuss applied economic research. We invite empirical and theoretical contributions from all fields of macroeconomics and international economics with an emphasis on a high relevance for economic policy.

The special topic of the workshop will be inflation. Contributions on the following topics are highly

  • inflation dynamics and persistence
  • inflation expectations
  • unconventional monetary policy
  • interest rates and financial stability
  • low inflation and the real economy

Distingueshed keynote speakers are invited: Michael Ehrmann(European Central Bank) and Mathias Trabandt(Freie Universität Berlin).

The workshop will take place on September 7-8, 2017, in Halle (Germany).

Deadline for submission is June 15, 2017.
